Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. 100 gramsgreen Pigeon peas
  2. 1onion
  3. 5-6 garlic cloves
  4. 1 small piece of ginger
  5. 1 table spoon grated dry coconut
  6. 1 tspoon coriander seeds
  7. Oil as required
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. Turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala as per your taste

  1. 1

    Take out seeds of pigeon peas from pods.Add little oil in karahi add peas and saute for two minutes.

    In other pan add 1 tspoon oil.Add chopped onion, coconut, coriander seeds, garlic cloves and ginger.Cook till golden brown.

    Grind masala in mixer.Keep aside.Now coarsely grind pigeon peas with coriander leaves.

    In a pan heat oil add onion paste, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric,salt and saute till masala separates oil.

    Add grounded pigeon peas paste and required water.Cover and cook for five minutes.
