Made of yeasted dough these buns are one of the most fabulous bakery pastries you will enjoy for your breakfast. You'll only need a few ingredients and take 25 minutes to bake. #august2026

Mix milk, egg, sugar and yeast in a mixing bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes. Add the flour salt vanilla and grated lemon zest and oil. Using your processor fitted with dough blade Knead for a few minutes until combined and smooth.

Cover and let the dough double in size. On a floured board roll the dough out into a circle and divide into 8 wedges. Then roll ech one in a ball and let it rest for 15 minutes.

After the 15 minutes roll each ball out in a circle and cut into 8 again. Place 4 pieces of triangles on top of each other then roll it up into a circle.

Place them on a lined baking tray, cover and let them rest for 15 minutes. Pre heat oven to 180c. Brush each buns with egg and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
