Steps

Cook 3/4 cup of rice with enough water in a pressure cooker

In a pan add oil, add mustard seeds,when the seeds start spluttering, add cumin, red chilli, cinnamon stick and cardamom.

Add ginger garlic paste to the above mix and also the green chillies

To the above mixture, add sliced onions, salt and saute. To this add finely grated carrots and stir fry

To this add chopped tomatoes,salt,red chili powder, garam masala. Lower the flame and keep on stirring till the tomatoes are mashed well and become a pulp.

When the mix is ready add rice to it, mix well and serve hot.
