Ingredients

  1. 500 gmsPaya or Mutton Pieces
  2. Jeera
  3. Oil
  4. Paste-
  5. 1/3 CupDry Coconut
  6. 1 tspbesan
  7. 1 tspGinger Paste
  8. 1 tbspGarlic paste
  9. 1-2bay leaf
  10. 1 tspBlack pepper
  11. 1medium Onion
  12. 2-3Green Chilli
  13. 2-3Curry Leaves
  14. 1 tspDhana Jeera Powder
  15. 1/2 cupCoriander
  16. Salt
  17. PinchTurmeric
  18. PinchHing

Steps

  1. 1

    In mixer make paste of all ingredients mention above in paste. Make it smooth so there wont be any chunks between it. Add oil instead of water to make it blend.

  2. 2

    Take oil in pressure cooker. Heat it and add jeera. Once it gets split add above paste and saute it till all water in it gets evapourated. Once it look dry add turmeric and paya pieces and stir it to get all masala coat to all pieces.

  3. 3

    Once it gets nice stir add boiling water in it and stir it again. Do not let masala stick to the bottom. Add salt. And pressure cook it for 5-6 whistle. And serve it.

  4. 4

    As mutton already come with too much fat, use oil accordingly.
