Soak tha dal and chaval and methi dana for 5 - 6 hours. then grind it in smooth paste and add salt and mix it. now keep it in warm place for 5-6 hours for fermentation.

After fermentation we add all ingredients of hanvo batter except eno and mix well.

Now we make a tadka for it. in a pan heat oil add all ingredients of tadka and this tdka pour into the batter and mix nicely

Whenever we want make handvo then mix eno

Now take non-stick pan heat 1/2 tsp oil and add 2 pinch of rai and sesame seeds and pour 2 tbsp of batter on it and cook for 3-4 minutes then flip the handvo so another side also cook and crisp. make all cakes as the same way... enjoy hot with any chutney... happy cooking
