Ingredients

45-60 mins.
5 servings.
  1. 1 kgflour
  2. Oil for frying
  3. 3large eggs
  4. 2 tbspblueband
  5. 50 gsugar
  6. Warm water
  7. 1 tbspblueband
  8. 1tbspof baking powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Put flour in a large pan. Add in sugar and baking powder and mix

    Add in blueband and rub it in to form bread like crumbs. Then break eggs beat and add. Mix welk. Start adding in warm water and start to mix knead well.

    Knead to form a soft dough. Then let it rest for 20 minutes.

    Roll in a flat surface to get 0. 5cm thick. Using a knife cut into desirable sizes.

    Heat oil until hot enough. Stary frying the mandazi in hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
