Combine sugar and butter and mix together till creamy

Beat 5eggs and add to the mixture while stirring

Add sieved flour, baking powder, vanilla essence and zest of lemon to the mixture and keep stirring till the mixture drops in a simultaneous manner while adding water. (but don't add a lot of water to the mixture to avoid imbalancing of the ingredients)

Preheat the oven for ten minutes at 180cc

Grease the baking sheet add the mixture and bake the cake at 180cc in 1hour

Confirm the cake if it's ready by using any sharp object eg knife or a skewer by poking the middle of a cake if the objects comes out clean it's ready and let it cool for 10 min b4 transferring it to a wire rack

Allow the cake to cool completely b4 refrigerating it for 24hours, it enable the cake to firm and bond completely

Separate egg white from egg yolk and use egg white for decorating

Squeeze lemon juice it helps to curb any sensitive smell from the raw egg

Combine all ingredients together while adding food colour of your choice

Start decorating the cake and be super creative as possible

After decorating let the cake rest in a refrigerator to firm the decorating ingredients
