At first dry roast the moong Dal and wash

Now wash the rice and mix it with the moong Dal along with turmeric powder

Heat a pan add oil and ghee(2tb spoon)and add the whole garam masala,jeera,bay leaf and red chilli

Then fry the potatoes, cauliflower florets,green peas and cashew nut and raisins

Add turmeric powder and salt and cover it

Now add jeera, dhaniya,chilli powder and ginger paste fry a little

Add the daal chawal mix and fry adding salt

Add warm water and cover it

Finally add sugar, fried coconut pieces,garam masala powder and ghee(2 tb spoon)

Serve it hot with fries, chutney and kheer
