Tuna chicken rice in sofrito

Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 2 cantuna fish
  2. 15 ozcan full of broken jasmine rice
  3. 1 cupsofrito , I used Goya brand
  4. 15 ozcan of chick peas
  5. 1 quartchicken broth
  6. 4 largechicken breast, boneless and skinless
  7. 5bay leaves
  8. 1 tspcelery salt
  9. 1 tspground black pepper
  10. 1 tspgarlic powder
  11. 1 cupfrozen sweet green peas
  12. 1 pintswater
  13. 1/4 cupItalian dressing vinergette

Cooking Instructions

    Add broth and water with spices heat in a pot

  2. 2

    Cut chicken into bite sized pieces

  3. 3

    Add chicken when boiling for 7 minutes drain liquid from can of tuna discard the juice of tuna I used tuna in water, add rice let cook for 5 minutes stir in tuna cover let cook 4 minutes

    Add chickpeas and sofrito stir occasionally add bay leaves, let cook 3 minutes add sweet peas

  5. 5

    Lower heat cover cook 2 minutes remove frome heat let rest 10 minutes covered undisturbed enjoy
