Roast melon seed giri and make powder in mixer. Now add milk powder, sugar powder and cardamom powder. Add kevada water. Mix well. Now add one spoon malai mix well, if required add another spoon malai (slowly as it may not required). Make a smooth dough. Now take a plastic paper spread some ghee on it. Now roll that dough like roti as thick as you like. Now cut in diamond shape pieces. Your katali (barfi) is ready.
