Cooking Instructions

Pound the garlic. Shallot and ginger. Xo sauce (Lee Kim Lee brand)

Arrowhead root

Peel the skin of the arrowhead root then soak in water to prevent colouring

With pan Fry the pork belly for 3 minutes then add in the pounded Paste and sauté till fragrance about 1 minutes

Add in water and bring it to a boil then add in the lightly smashed arrowhead root and simmer for 20 minutes with lid cover, stirring every 10 minutes

Season with light soy sauce and Double check for Pork Belly tenderness for another 15 minutes

Serve As it is, Arrowhead Root In Soy Sauce Or

For This Coming CNY Special Fusion Dish,,,,For A More Intense Savoury Flavour, on a Pan I Added 4 slice sun dried tomato with 1 tbsp of XO Sauce with 1/2 tbsp of light soy sauce and mix well with 1 bowl of the cooked arrowhead root in soy sauce
