Ingredients

  1. 4chicken drumsticks, skin removed
  2. 4chicken thighs, skin removed
  3. 2 tspCanjun seasoning
  4. 3/4 tspsalt
  5. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  6. 1chicken broth, 14 oz
  7. 1 cupuncooked rice
  8. 2bell pepper, med. too taste
  9. 1/2 cupgreen onion
  10. 2 clovegarlic, minced
  11. 1/2 tspthyme
  12. 1/4 tspturmeric

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Lightly coat 13x9 baking pan with cooking spray

  3. 3

    Pat chicken dry with canjun seasoning and salt

  4. 4

    Heat oil in pan over medium high heat

  5. 5

    Cook chicken 8 to 10 minutes or untill browned on all sides. Transfer to plate.

    Add broth to skillet and bring to a boil.

  7. 7

    Scrape browned bits from bottom of skillet.

  8. 8

    Add rice, peppers, green onions, garlic, thyme, and turmeric.

  9. 9

    Pour rice in baking dish and place chicken ontop. Cover with foil.

  10. 10

    Bake 1 hour.
