Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1Ahi tuna filet
  • 1 tspKosher salt
  • 1/4 tspCayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbspButter
  • 2 tbspOlive oil
  • 1 tspWhole peppercorns (or coarse ground pepper)
  • 1Jalepeno cheese tortillas
  • 1Wasabi mayo (made to taste)
  • 1Baby greens
  • 1Cucumber, diced
  • 1Tomato, diced
  • 1Sesame sauce (or dressing if you can't find a nice thick sauce)

Steps

  1. 1

    Season tuna filet with salt and cayenne pepper.

  2. 2

    Melt butter with olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the peppercorns in the mixture until they soften and pop, about 5 minutes. Gently place the seasoned tuna in the skillet and cook to desired doneness, 1 1/2 minutes per side for rare. Remove and cut into slices.

  3. 3

    Heat tortillas in microwave per directions on packaging.

  4. 4

    Top tortilla with wasabi mayo, slices of tuna, cucumber, tomato, baby greens and sesame sauce. Wrap, cut in half & serve with a side of sesame sauce.
