Ingredients

  1. 1crock pot full of leftover broth
  2. 2.5 lbsGround Hamburger
  3. 2 lbsdried red beans
  4. 1 tbspOregano
  5. 3 tbspsChili Powder
  6. 3/4tsps Cayenne Pepper
  7. 1 tbspPaprika
  8. 1 tbspginger
  9. 1⁄4 cup Brown Sugar
  10. 3 tbspFlour
  11. 2 tbspCumin
  12. 1⁄2 tsp Black Pepper
  13. 1 tbspcrushed red pepper
  14. 1 shothoney whiskey
  15. 2 tbspfavorite marinade
  16. 6 clovesGarlic, minced
  17. 1⁄4 cup Olive Oil
  18. 1large Onion, minced
  19. 2Green Peppers, minced
  20. 4large tomatoes, chopped

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add everything save the meat and oil to the leftover roast broth and set the pot to High.

  2. 2

    Cook the hamburger in the oil and add to crock pot once browned and crunchy.

  3. 3

    Cook for 4 hours or until beans are soft. Add water as beans swell. This makes a very thick soup. Thin it as desired. You can also add frozen corn.
