My wife loves this recipe, and I may or may not have tricked her by using venison. However in my defense she said that was the best drunken beef I had ever made.

My wife loves this recipe, and I may or may not have tricked her by using venison. However in my defense she said that was the best drunken beef I had ever made.

Coat meat in flour.
- 2
Melt butter in skillet, brown meat. Add in garlic and onions as meat begins to brown.

After meat browns and onions begin to caramelize, add beer, water, and mushrooms. Bring to a boil.

After it is brought to a boil cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- 5
Goes great with potatoes or rice.
