Ingredients

  1. 1 cupChana dal
  2. 1/2 cup urad dal
  3. 1/4 cup moong dal
  4. 1/2 cup kopra powder
  5. 1 tbspLemon size cleaned tamarind
  6. 1/4 cup chilli powder
  7. 1 tbspSmall piece of jaggery
  8. 1/2 tsp each jeera & dhania
  9. To tasteSalt
  10. 2 spoonsoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast all the dals separately, roast Dhania jeera and also kopra. Heat two spoons of oil in a kadai and fry tamarind and keep aside. Simmer the flame put hing chilli powder turmeric and salt and mix for about a minute and put off the flame.

    When the dals are cool grind into powder along with the jaggery and mix with chilli powder. Keep in a air tight box. Can be stored up to six months
