Chutney powder

This is a side dish for idli , dosa , chapati, rice , curd rice etc. Mixed with groundnut oil or ghee it can be had with chapati, pulka, idli, dosa; along with curd it can be had with pulka, chapati, Jowar roti; with hot rice and groundnut oil it is very tasty. It can be had with curd rice.

Roast all the dals separately, roast Dhania jeera and also kopra. Heat two spoons of oil in a kadai and fry tamarind and keep aside. Simmer the flame put hing chilli powder turmeric and salt and mix for about a minute and put off the flame.

When the dals are cool grind into powder along with the jaggery and mix with chilli powder. Keep in a air tight box. Can be stored up to six months
