An easy dish with an irresistible flavor, especially when baked in a tagine in the oven.

In a pot over medium heat, add the butter and oil. Add the beef with a pinch of salt and pepper, and sauté briefly.

Add the remaining ingredients and spices. Stir, then add 1/2 cup water (about 120 ml).

Let it simmer for a bit, then transfer everything to a tagine or oven-safe dish. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Check occasionally while baking. If it dries out, add a little water until the meat is fully cooked.

Remove the foil and broil the top until browned. Enjoy!
