Ingredients

  1. 900 gramsChicken leg pieces
  2. 2big size Onion paste
  3. 1& 1/2 tbsp Garlic paste
  4. 3 tspVinegar
  5. 6-8 pcThai red chilli peppers
  6. 6 tbspPepperico sauce
  7. 3 tbspPaprika powder
  8. 3 tbspKashmiri red mirchi powder
  9. 1 tbspGaram masala powder
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. 1 tbspSugar
  12. 100 gmsMustard oil
  13. 2-3 tbspButter

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the thai red chilli peppers and trim the stems.

  2. 2

    Slit the chilli peppers upto the position just below the stems.

  3. 3

    Scoop out all the seeds and put the seeds in other bowl.

  4. 4

    Add warm water and thai red chillies in a mixer and make a paste.

  5. 5

    Boil chicken leg pieces for about 5 mins and keep the stock in other bowl.

  6. 6

    Heat mustard oil in pan, add sugar.

  7. 7

    Sauté onion paste and garlic paste for 5 mins.

  8. 8

    Add chicken leg pieces and stir till oil separates.

  9. 9

    Add thai red chilli pepper paste and paprika powder, kashmiri red mirchi powder, pepperico sauce, garam masala powder and stir in low flame for 15-20 mins.

    Add 1 cup chicken stock,sugar and salt.

  11. 11

    Simmer it until the consistency becomes thick and pour vinegar on it.

  12. 12

    Melt butter in a pan and pour it on the thai red chilli pepper seeds in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.

  13. 13

    Pour the mixture of melted butter and thai red chilli pepper seeds on the preparation and serve hot with roti and onion salad.
