Bini version of owho is similar to that of Niger delta, the only difference is that Bini version is thickened with fresh tomatoes while Niger delta's version is thickened with starch mixed with water.

Bini version of owho is similar to that of Niger delta, the only difference is that Bini version is thickened with fresh tomatoes while Niger delta's version is thickened with starch mixed with water.
Steps

Wash and blend your fresh tomatoes and fresh pepper

Put in a pot and start boiling

Season and boil your dry fish to get some fish stock
- 4
Add your fish stock, fish, and crayfish, then continue boiling the blended pepper mix, boil till almost dried dry

Break some potash into powder form and add, then put off your heat.

Allow to cool a little, not completed cool

Add your palm oil and stir, you will notice the Owo will start thickening as it mix up with palm oil, you will also notice the yellowish color becoming visible, if not add a little more potash till it mixes properly with oil, the palm oil is not suppose to float on top if not you have done something wrong.

Serve with boiled plantain or yam
