Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 4plain Idlis
  2. 1 tbspOil/Ghee
  3. 1/4 tspCashews nut pieces
  4. 1/8 tspUrad dal
  5. 1/8 tspMustard seeds
  6. 1/8 tspCummin seeds
  7. Few curry leaves
  8. 1/8 tspfinely chopped green chilli
  9. 1 tbspshredded fresh coconut
  10. 1 tbspfresh kothmari

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate Idli through thick holed seive..as shown in figure

    Grated idli..

    In a non stick pan..heat oil/ghee..when hot add kaju pieces..saute till pink in colour.

  4. 4

    Add Urad dal..saute till golden brown..add mustard seeds and Cummin seeds.,curry leaves, chopped green chilli..saute for 1min.

    Add grated idli mixture..and mix well.Saute for 1min.

    Now remove in Serving plate.Garnish with shredded coconut & finely chopped fresh kothmari.

    Relish this nutritive delicious breakfast (recreation of idlis.)..idli upma.
