Drain excess water from Dal and grind to make a smooth paste. Let it rest for an hour. Add salt and mix well

Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame. Make a circle with the Dal paste on your palm and place it in the oil.

Once golden brown, drain excess oil and directly plunge into the water bowl.(Add hing in water).

In a separate bowl, add yogurt, powdered sugar and salt to taste. Mix well.

Squeeze out excess water from bhalle and place it in the yogurt bowl for a while.

Now place 2-3 bhalle in a serving bowl. Add some more yogurt. Garnish with chutney and dahi bhalle masala.
