Coconut moong daal

Steps

Heat oil temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole

As it crackle add chopped coconut and fry till golden brown
- 3
Add cumin coriander powder and red chilli Powder saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add red chilli Powder and mix well

Now add the roasted moong daal and mix well
- 6
Add water and simmer till the daal gets soft
- 7
As it become soft add ghee garam masala powder and sugar
- 8
Serve it with rice
