Ingredients

20-25 min
2 serving
  • 500 gmchicken
  • 1/2 cupoinion slices
  • 1/2 cuponion paste
  • 1 tbspgarlic paste
  • 1 tbspginger paste
  • 3-4green chilli slit
  • 1 cupYogurt
  • 3-4 tbspcashew paste
  • 1 tsppoppy seeds paste
  • 1 cupcoconut milk
  • 3 tbspoil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspSugar
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2-3red chilli whole
  • Some spices (2 cardamom, 3 cinnamon, 3 cloves, 2 bay leaves, 2 red chilli whole)

Steps

20-25 min
  1. 1

    Marinated the chicken with yogurt and black pepper and salt for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds,red chilli whole & all the spices and satue till fragrent.

  3. 3

    Add onion slices and sugar and satue. Add onion paste,ginger garlic paste and satue.

  4. 4

    Add green chilli and satue then add remain salt,cumin poewder,Coriander powder and satue.

  5. 5

    Add cashew paste & poppy seeds paste and stir then add marinated chicken and stir.

  6. 6

    Cover and cook 6-7 min and stir occationaly.

  7. 7

    Again cover and cook 8-10 min till the chicken is tender and then the oil is seperated then add coconut milk and stir.

  8. 8

    Again cover and cook 3-4 min.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with roti,nun or laccha paratha.
