Rava upma recipe
Steps

Roast rava on a medium flame until crunchy. Transfer to a bowl.cool it.

Add oil or ghee to a pan. Add mustard, cumin and urad dal. Fry until the dal turns to golden.

Now add green chilles, curry leaves and ginger. Saute it for a minute.

Add onions and fry until transparent.

Now add carrot and capsicum. Saute it.

Pour water and add salt and lemon juice as needed.

Set the flame to medium. With one hand pour rava in a pan to the boiling water. While you stir the rava in the water with ur other hand. Stir it continuously.

Cover and cook on a low flame for 3 - 5 min.

Open the lid and stir once. Switch off the gas burner and cover again. Leave it for 5 min.

Ready to eat hot upma with curd or chutney.
