This is one of my innovation of paneer where the flavour of honey and ghee dominates the entire dish. Have it with Indian breads or Pulao.

This is one of my innovation of paneer where the flavour of honey and ghee dominates the entire dish. Have it with Indian breads or Pulao.
Steps

Heat some oil in a wok and shallow fry the paneer cubes with the black pepper powder. Keep them aside.

Boil the onion and make a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

In the same wok, add the cloves, green cardamom and cinnamon. Saute it till the aroma comes out.

Add the onion paste. Saute it well. Note that it shouldn't become brownish.

Add the ginger and garlic paste. Saute it well.

Add the poppy seeds paste, yogurt, salt, red chilli powder and mix it very well.

Add some water for the gravy. Bring it to boil. Add the paneer and honey.

Mix it very well and then add the ghee. Check the salt.

Cover it with a lid for 3mins.

After you get the desired consistency remove it from the flame. Serve hot.
