Ingredients

  1. 1 cupfinely chopped methi(fenugreek) leaves
  2. 3-4green chillies
  3. 3-4garlic cloves
  4. 1 inch ginger piece
  5. 2 cupwheat flour
  6. 1/4 cupchickpea flour
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspsesame seeds
  9. 1 tspcarom seeds
  10. as neededWater to knead the dough
  11. as neededGhee/oil to cook paratha

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic.

  2. 2

    Add all the ingredients except ghee/oil and with the help of water knead a soft dough.

  3. 3

    Cover and let it rest for 15-20mins.

  4. 4

    Knead the dough again. Take a small portion of dough and roll it.

  5. 5

    Heat tawa and with the help of ghee/oil cook the paratha from both sides.

  6. 6

    Serve with white butter, curd, raita or simply enjoy with pickle and ghee.
