Ingredients

  • 1 cupchopped Mixed vegetables (carrot, cabbage, capsicum etc)
  • 1onion
  • 2green chillies
  • as neededCoriander leaves few
  • 1 springCurry leaves
  • 1 piece eachGinger garlic
  • 1 tablespoonurad dal / black gram
  • 1 tablespoonchanadal / bengali daal
  • 2Red chillies
  • 1 gooseberry sizeTamarind
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 teaspoonsOil
  • 1 teaspoonMustard seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat two teaspoon of oil and fry chanadal, urad dal, red chillies till golden.

  2. 2

    Add roughly chopped onions, green chillies,garlic, Ginger, tomato and saute for few minutes. Add tamarind and required salt

  3. 3

    Then add mixed vegetables and saute well

  4. 4

    Turn off the flame and allow it to cool. Then blend them into fine paste

  5. 5

    Temper it with mustard seeds,curry leaves.
