A unique and impressive noodle soup. The addition of canned tuna is perfect, especially when combined with vegetables and piquillo peppers, its ideal complement. This hearty soup is quick to make, flavorful, and always handy for a satisfying meal that will surprise everyone.
Steps
- 1
First, sauté the crushed tomatoes and finely chopped garlic with the olive oil in a pot. After a few minutes, add the half fish bouillon cube and stir. Next, add the green peas and piquillo peppers.
- 2
Sauté again, then add 1 cup of water and the white wine. Now add the thin noodles. Add more water as needed. Finally, add the drained and flaked tuna with some of its oil, season with salt to taste, and add the pinch of black pepper and food coloring if using. Cook over medium heat.
- 3
Once the broth has reduced and the noodles are cooked, turn off the heat, making sure there is still some broth left. Let the soup rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy! This was a big hit at home.
