In a mixing bowl add all flour, salt, turmeric powder, buttermilk, and required water and mix well make semi thick batter

Cover and keep aside for 6 hours, then add grated bottle guard and carrots

In a pan add oil, heat it add mustard

Then add asafoetida, carom seeds and sesame seeds

Then add curry leaves and ginger, garlic and chilli paste

Then add chopped peanut and cook for 1 min.

Then add this mixture into batter and mix well. Before making add baking soda and mix it.

In a pan add 1 teaspoon oil and pour 1 cup of batter and cover and cook for 3 mins in low flame.

Then turn it and cook for 3 mins.

Then serve it in serving plate and garnish with ketchup.
