Ingredients

  1. 500 gmakki flour
  2. 2medium sized onions
  3. 1 teaspoonajwain
  4. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  5. 1 teaspoonkasoori methi
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1 teaspoonvegetable oil
  8. Few sprigs cilantro
  9. 3-4greenchillies
  10. 1 tbsdesi ghee

Cooking Instructions

    Knead the dough of makki by adding the aforementioned spices and condiments by adding little water.

    Let the dough rest for few minutes.

    Now on a palm grease little oil and make round flattened balls and make a hole in the center

  4. 4

    On a steamer boil water, arrange these doughnuts in the steamer and close the lid

  5. 5

    Allow the doughnuts to steam for 8-10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Take them out and enjoy them with yellow dal thadka or simply with ghee...This recipe is famous in the rural area of Rajasthan during winters.
