Ingredients

20 minutes
2 persons
  1. 1/2 cupMoth
  2. 1/2 cuprice
  3. 1 tbspghee
  4. 5black pepper
  5. 3cardamoms
  6. 3cloves
  7. 1 cinnamon
  8. 2bay leaves
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Grind into smooth paste:
  11. 2 cupfinely chopped coriander
  12. 1/2 cupfresh green garlic
  13. 3-4green chillies
  14. 1 tspcumin seeds
  15. 1 tbsplemon juice
  16. Water if needed

Cooking Instructions

    Soak moth beans for 7-8 hours or over night. Wash rice & drain out water.

    Make smooth paste from ingredients.

  3. 3

    In a pressure pan heat ghee, add all whole spices and saute for few seconds then add green paste and saute for while.

    Now add soaked and washed moth bean, rice and mix carefully with light hand. Add 3 cups of water, salt and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.

    Serve hot with curd and papad.
