Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsdehradun basmati rice
  2. 2 cupsroasted mung dal
  3. 5-6cauliflower florets
  4. 2Potatoes cut into cubes
  5. 1 cupgreen peas
  6. 1tomato chopped
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1 tspginger paste
  9. 2 tbspcumin-coriander powder
  10. 1 tspred chilli Powder
  11. 1 tspturmeric powder
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the dal first and add rice once it is soft

  2. 2

    Now add oil in a pan,temper cumin seeds, bay leaf and let it crackle

  3. 3

    Add vegetables and saute well

  4. 4

    Add ginger paste saute well.

  5. 5

    Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder and red chilli Powder saute.

    Add tomato and saute till oil separates

  7. 7

    Now pour this into the rice and daal mix.

    Add sugar and boil,serve it with fried vegetables.
