Ingredients

serves 2 servin
  1. 2amritsari urad dal waris
  2. 2brinjals cut into big cubes
  3. 2potatoes cut into big cubes
  4. 2big cubes of bottle gourd(lauki)
  5. 2onions finely chopped
  6. 3tomatoes grinded
  7. 4 tbspoil
  8. 1 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1 tspginger,garlic paste
  10. 1/4 tsphaldi
  11. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  12. 1/4 tspdhania powder
  13. 1/4 tspgaram masala powder
  14. To tastesalt

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil pressure cooker.

  2. 2

    Fry amritsari waris till golden on both sides.

  3. 3

    Remove and keep it aside.

  4. 4

    In the same oil saute onions till transparent.

  5. 5

    Add potatoes, bottle gourd, brinjals,mix and saute for 5mins.

  6. 6

    Add grinded tomatoes,salt,all dry masalas and saute for 10 mins.

  7. 7

    Add waris,mix and saute for more 5mins.

  8. 8

    Add enough water to soak the veggies.

  9. 9

    Close the lid and pressure cook for 2whistles.

  10. 10

    Allow it to cool completely.

    Open the lid,check the consistency.

  12. 12

    If to thick add little water, adjust the taste and cook for 5mins.

    Transfer in a serving dish.

  14. 14

    Garnish with corridor leaves.

  15. 15

    Serve hot with rice and phulkas.
