Ingredients

30-40mins.
2-3 people.
  1. 500 gmAtta/wheat flour
  2. 4-5potatoes
  3. 2-4 spoonsalt
  4. 1 tspgaram masala
  5. 1onion
  6. 5-6green chilies
  7. 100 gmcooking oil or Ghee

Cooking Instructions

30-40mins.

    First boil 4 medium-sized potatoes. You can boil or steam the potatoes in a pressure cooker, steamer or electric cooker. Add enough water in a 2-litre pressure cooker or pan just about covering the potatoes

    Peel & chop the boiled warm potatoes. Then mash the potatoes with a potato masher. You can even grate and then mash the potatoes. The potatoes should be mashed very well. There should not be any tiny bits of unmashed potatoes

    Now add the chopped green chillis, garam masala powder or garam masala powder, finely chopped onions and sakt to taste. With a spoon, mix the spice powders and green chilies with the mashed potatoes very well.

    In another bowl or pan, take 2 cups whole wheat flour. Then Knead the dough.

    Pinch two small balls from the dough. Flatten them and dust with whole wheat flour. on one of the rolled dough circle, place the potato stuffing in the center and warp it well.
    ‌Then again roll the paratha into a round shape like normal roti or chapati.

    After that, put the paratha in a hot tawa and make it crisp on the both sides. Then add some oil or ghee and fry it well. Then your alu paraths will be ready to serve.
