The key ingredient that make Bombay Sandwiches very unique and tasty is the coriander chutney( known as green chutney as well)
Instead of butter, we use chutney as a spread! The spicyness of this chutney just take the sandwiches to the next level.

This chutney can also be used in various of dishes. Such us Indian Green curry ( coriander) chicken. And it can be use as dipping sauce for all indian food.

Ingredients

  1. Coriander chutney
  2. 1tomato
  3. 3garlic clove
  4. 1 tspcumin seed
  5. 1 bunchcoriander
  6. 2 stalkmint leaves
  7. 4green chillies
  8. Salt
  9. 2 tbsplime juice
  10. 1 cupwater
  11. Bombay Sandwiches
  12. 2breads
  13. Sliced tomato
  14. Boiled potatoes (sliced)
  15. Cucumber
  16. Green chutney
  17. Sliced onions
  18. Indian sev for the topping on the top (optional) to give crunchyness

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Blend the ingredients for green chutney above together. To get the texture as per images below. Tip! Add the water slowly while blending. You dont want it to be too runny.

    Spread the coriander chutney on both bread. Topped with sliced tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and potatoes(you can add meat if you like).

    Grill in a griddle pan/ George forman. Enjoy!
