Ingredients

  1. Dry Ingredients
  2. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 2 tsp.baking powder
  4. 1 tsp.baking soda
  5. 1/4 tsp.salt
  6. Wet Ingredients
  7. 3eggs
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 1/4 cupapplesauce
  10. Optional
  11. Add extra 1/2 cup flour for thicker batter (fluffy pancakes!)
  12. Oil can be substituted for the applesauce (same amount)

Cooking Instructions

    Beat eggs, then add applesauce, baking powder, soda, and salt. Mix thoroughly to smooth any clumps.

    Add flour and water to mixture, mixing until incorporated.

    Measure 1/4 cup (for consistent pancakes), and pour the batter on a heated nonstick or greased skillet.
