Ingredients

  1. 1 cuparhar ki daal
  2. 2 tbspmoongfali(peanut)soked in water 30min
  3. Clove5
  4. 2dry red chilli
  5. 1-2green chilli(slit)
  6. 1/2 tspHaldi
  7. 1/2 tspMirch powder
  8. Hing1/2tsp
  9. Jeera 1, tsp
  10. 4kokums
  11. Salt
  12. 1/2 tspGarlic
  13. Ginger1/2
  14. Dhokli ingredients
  15. 1 cupwheat flour
  16. 1 tbsp.Besan
  17. 2-3 tbspOil
  18. 1/2 tspHaldi
  19. Mirch1/2
  20. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Take daal and the peanuts in a pressure cooker till soft. Keep aside.

    Heat 1 Tbsp ghee in a pan add raai and add jeera, garlic, hing and add the red chilli and 1 green chilli and boiled daal.

    Add cocum, haldi powder, chilli powder, sugar and curry leaves. Boil and add salt to taste.

    To make dhokli: mix the flour, salt, haldi, chilli powder,hing and add some oil and make a dough with water. Knead well and roll out into 10 cm discs.

    Cut the discs into (diamond) squares with a knife and drop them into the boiling daal mixture.

    When all the dhokli pieces are put in, stir krte rahein nahi to dhokli apas m stick ho skti hai.boil the daal for a further 15 minutes on a low flame Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
