Cooking Instructions

Soak Gobindobhog rice for 30 mins, drain and make a paste with little water. Set aside
- 2
Boil 1ltr milk and after 10 mins, add the rice paste. At this point flame should be low and keep stirring.

When the texture is a little thick and rice is cooked, make a mango purée and add to it
- 4
Immediately add cardamom powder and sugar and on low flame keep stirring for 5-7 mins.

Plate and refrigerate for 40 mins, or when it sets
- 6
Garnish with some chopped mango pieces and mint leaves and enjoy

Therefore, today I made this Eggless Mango Mousse which is the best homemade dessert you can enjoy these summers.Mousse means foam in French which implies the airy texture this dessert should have. So yes, it's basic ingredients has to be either eggs or whip cream or both, to incorporate air into the mixture. I used whipped cream as the base which gives it a little rich flavour and somewhat heavier texture than the one made with eggs. To make it more creamy, I added my secret ingredient, hung curd and lastly my star ingredient, the MANGO!Boom! 💥You get the perfect sweet treat for your temptations.
