Aloo Kabli Chaat was a savoury snack sold in cart by street vendors in front of my school . It is loaded with ingredients like chickpea, potato, cucumber, whole yellow pea, onion etc. These are tossed in lemon juice, tamarind pulp. Ingredients

  1. 2large boiled potatoes
  2. 1medium onion
  3. 1medium tomato
  4. 1cucumber
  5. 2green chillies
  6. 50 gmsblack gram
  7. 50 gmchickpeas
  8. 1/4 cupcoriander leaves
  9. 1lemon
  10. 1/2 tbsptamarind paste
  11. 1 tspBlack salt to taste
  12. Masala Mixture
  13. 1 tspcoriander seeds
  14. 1 tspcumin seeds
  15. 2green cardamom

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the potatoes and the black gram and chickpea. Dry roast the masalas and cook and grind to powder.

    Cut onions, tomatoes, cucumber, green chilli and chop coriander leaves. Prepare the tamarind paste in water

    Now take everything in a bowl and add 1 lemon juice squeezed. Add black salt and the ground spices 1 tsp and mix.

    To the mixture add tamarind paste just to your taste of tanginess. Serve for your snack time.
