Badami Quorma

I shared last time my Pista Quorma… because my Almonds (badam) were finished. This time I made sure to write in my grocery list, specially for my Quorma. My family specially my mother in law loves my style of Quorma and if it is in Mutton then the happiness gets multiplied by two.

Badami Quorma

Cooking Instructions

Wash and clean mutton.

Pour oil in cooker or in normal pot. Heat it up and add ginger garlic paste. The. Add mutton.

Fry it in oil at least for 7-8 mins.

In the mean while mmix masala and yogurt. I love Quorma masala packet wala, so I use that one. I pour whole packet in one bowl of yogurt. Add 1 tsp chili powder and 1/2 tsp salt Mix and whip it well.

Pour masala and yogurt mixture in the meat and stir it well. And add hot water. If you are cooking in a normal pot, just cover it and leave it for 1-1.5 hr. But if you are using cooker then just leave for 20 mins after whistle.

In the mean while crushed golden onion and mix it with 2-3 tbs of yogurt. And make it a paste. On the other side crushed the Almonds in the dry mill

Once the meat gets tender, add Fried onion yogurt paste, Crushed Almond and Kewra. Leave it on low flame for 10-15 mins or till the oil comes up.

Sprinkle almonds and serve with naan, sheermal or taftan and Enjoy delicious Badami Quorma😋
