Kathiyawadi Gathiya Ki Sabji

Gathiya ki Sabji is a kathiyawadi Gujarati dish. This sabji is very popular among Gujarati people. Gathiya is a popular Gujarati Farsan recipe. Using readymade nylon gathiya we will today make Gathiya ki sabji. This recipe is very quick to make and requires minimum ingredients. This recipe of gathiya consists of a tomato based gravy and garlic chutney. So do try out this recipe and let us know about the taste.
Cooking Instructions

First heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, when both are start to splutter, add dried red chilli and asafoetida.

Then add turmeric powder, coriander cumin powder, garlic chutney and sweet curry leaves. Suate it.

Now add tometo puree and mix very well. Then add salt and kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well. Then Add water, mix well and cook on medium to high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add nylon gathiya, mix well, cover and cook for 1 minute on slow gas flame.

Now when the gathiya become soft, turn off the gas flame, add chopped green coriander and garam masala and mix well.

Now our spicy and tasty Kathiawadi Gathiya Ki Sabji is ready to serve. Serve this sabji and garnished with green coriander and nylon gayhiya with roti, paratha, masala khichdi or puri.
