Rhubarb, apple and berries oat crumble @kana’s birthday 🥳

I made this crumble in our Cookpad Kitchen today to celebrate @kanaaneko ‘s birthday, using @malouherkes field rhubarb from her dad’s garden!
Great way to celebrate someone’s birthday with homemade dessert and ingredients grown with care and love ♥️
What we all liked about this recipe is the sweetness. It was very moderate and not too sweet, so you can adjust to your taste by adding honey on top, ice cream or vanilla/honey yogurt on the side.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop the rhubarb into big chunks so it doesn't melt completely. then rhubarb with sugar over a medium heat for 5 minutes.
- 2
After 5 minutes, add the berries and apples and cook for another 5 minutes with the lid on. In the meantime start preparing the topping.
- 3
Mix the dry ingredients with the chilled butter in a bowl with the tip of your fingers and not between the palms of your hands so the butter doesn't melt.
- 4
The texture of the topping should remain crumbly and not very soft like a paste.
- 5
Pour the filling in a slightly deep baking dish, and sprinkle the filling evenly on top.
- 6
Bake in a preheated oven for almost 40 minutes on 190 degrees.
- 7
Serve with vanilla yogurt on the side on ice cream!

In summer I freeze rhubarb from the garden cut in one inch chunks. I can use it until the next season on this crumble and it doesn't require thawing. But you can use fresh rhubarb if you have it and more amount if you prefer it but remember to increase sugar sprinkled over too if you like it sweet. almu21 -

Apple Crumble Apple Crumble
This recipe was written up for the British Embassy's campaign, "A Taste of Britain" For more information, see the Facebook page www.facebook.com/oishii.igirisuIt's also delicious when made with European pears, cherries, plums, or rhubarb. Bramley apples are the best, but any tart red apples are good. It's standard to cover crumble in hot and thick custard but I also recommend that you try "Whisky Ice Cream",. Vickys Apple & Custard Cannelloni Crumble, GF DF EF SF NF Vickys Apple & Custard Cannelloni Crumble, GF DF EF SF NF
I was making lasagne today and asked my husband to soak the pasta sheets for me. He did the whole box which left me half that I didn't need! I've seen a recipe for a chocolate dessert lasagne on here that triggered my imagination and though I could try a 'cannelloni' crumble with the apples left in the fruit bowl that nobody was eating. It was actually really great! Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook -
Rhubarb Kuchen Rhubarb Kuchen
Rhubarb is in season during the spring. I learned this recipe from a neighbor.Apparently you're supposed to use a tart pan, but I didn't have one so I used a gratin dish (10 x 20 x 3 cm). I halved the recipe to accommodate the dish. Many cakes in Germany are topped with a sugary, buttery, crumbly topping.Rhubarb is pretty sour by itself which is why I mixed it with sugar. The recipe may seem quite sweet, but when eaten, the sweet and tart taste is delicious. I love cobbler. This one's a mashup I made with a streusel topping. Can leave that off if you want a still fantastic basic cobbler. Leave out the rhubarb if you are some sort of purist.9x13 pan Eric -
