Ingredients

  1. 12no. Sandwich bread slices
  2. 3 tbspoil
  3. 1 tspmustard seeds
  4. 1 tspchickpea lentils
  5. 1 tspurad dal
  6. 3no. finely chopped green chilly
  7. 1 inchfinely chopped ginger
  8. 6-8no. sweet curry leaves
  9. 1midium size finely chopped onion
  10. 1 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tspchilly powder
  12. 1 tspsalt
  13. 2midium size finely chopped tomatoes
  14. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  15. 1 tbsptometo ketchup
  16. 2 tbspfinely chopped green coriander
  17. 👉 For Garnishing :--
  18. leavesChopped green coriander

Cooking Instructions

    First upon cut the edges of the bread slice and cut it into small pieces.

    Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, chickpea lentils and urad lentils.

    Then add chopped green chillies, chopped ginger and sweet curry leaves and stir for a while. Now add finely chopped onion and mix very well and cook till onion turns pink colour on a midium gas flame.

    Then after add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt, mix it and stir well.

    Then after add chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Then add black pepper powder and tomato ketchup and mix well.

    Now add bread pieces and mix very well. And ccok for a 2 minutes. Then after add finely chopped green coriander and mix very well.

    Now our very tasty and nutritious bread upma is ready to serve. Garnish this upma with chopped green coriander leaves.
