Ingredients

40-50 minutes
3+serves
  1. 125-150 gmsgrated Cottage Cheese or Paneer
  2. 3 big boiled potatoes
  3. 1 tspGreen chilli and ginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder +1tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1 tspCumin seeds
  8. 1 tsp +1tsp oil butter
  9. 2 big tomato gravy
  10. 2 big onions gravy
  11. 5-8cashew powder
  12. Few Cashew and Raisins in Stuffing plus garnishing
  13. 1 tspKasuri methi
  14. 1 tspDry mango powder
  15. 1/2fresh milk cream
  16. 1,5 tbskitchen king or Garam masala
  17. 2 tbspCorn flour
  18. As Per TasteSalt
  19. As RequiredCoriander leaves
  20. 1Bay leaf and red dry chilli

Cooking Instructions

    Mash boiled potatoes, add Corn flour add salt to taste and bind the semi-soft dough and keep them aside

    Now, prepare Paneer or Cottage Cheese Stuffing.
    Grate the paneer add spices like green chili garlic and ginger paste salt, dry mango powder and garam masala, Cashew and Raisins chopped coriander leaves and mix them well and keep them aside.

    Now for Kofta:
    Take a small portion of the potato and flatten them in between place a small ball of paneer stuff and cover the edges of the potato and roll them in a small round or oval shape and then dip fry all the same way.

    For Gravy:
    Now roughly chop tomatoes and onions and saute in 1tsp oil and then grind into the grinder and prepare the thick puree.

    Now take a pan add oil and ghee now Crackle Cumin seeds, bay leaf and red dry chilli now pour the puree and cook them well for 5-7mins add all the spices later like turmeric powder, red chili powders, coriander powder, dry mango powder, garam masala/kitchen king Masala, cashew powder, and some cream, mix them nicely and boil them for around 5-8 minutes till the oil releases from the gravy.

    Now take a serving plate place the Kofta and pour the gravy over the Kofta spreading some fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve them hot with Naan, Paratha, or Kulcha.
