Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2big sized potatoes boiled
  2. 1/2 cupgrated paneer (cottage cheese)
  3. 2 tbspcornflour or rice flour
  4. 1green chilli finely chopped
  5. Fresh coriander roughly chopped
  6. 2 tbspMalai (cream)
  7. to tastesalt
  8. oil for deep frying
  9. For Gravy:-
  10. 2big sized onions roughly chopped
  11. 2big sized tomatoes roughly chopped
  12. 1 tbspgarlic paste or 6-7 cloves of garlic
  13. 1 inchGinger
  14. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 4-5black pepper corns
  17. 2dried red chillies
  18. 1 tbspjeera
  19. 1 tbspkasuri meethi
  20. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  21. 1 tspred chilli powder
  22. 1 tspgaram masala
  23. 1 cupmilk
  24. 2 tbspyoghurt
  25. 2 tbsptomato ketchup
  26. to tastesalt
  27. 2 tbspOil or Ghee

Cooking Instructions

    For Kofta:- peel the boiled potato and mash it.

  2. 2

    Now except malai mix all the ingredients together. make small balls and stuffs malai in it.

    Allow these Koftas to refrigerate for 10 mins. after that deep fry it on a low flame and keep it aside.

    For Gravy:- Heat oil in a pan add all the whole spices.

    Allow it to crackle.

    Now add onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and kasuri meethi.

    Once onions and tomatoes are cooked remove it from the heat. Allow it to cool. Add it in a blender.

    While blending add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.

    You can add little water to form a smooth paste.

    Now add this paste along with milk in a pan.

    Allow milk to reduce completely. now time to add ketchup and yoghurt. mix it well.

    Now the gravy will look some what like this. At this stage you can water if required.

    At last add cream and Fried Kofta's.

    Garnish it with little chopped coriander and mint. And serve hot with nice butter roti or laccha paratha.
