Ingredients

  1. 1 cuptuver dal
  2. 1small tomato chopped
  3. 1 inchginger chopped
  4. 1green chilli Chopped
  5. 2 spoonghee
  6. 2dried red chillies
  7. 1 spoonjeera
  8. 1 pinchhing
  9. As per tasteSalt
  10. As required coriander leaves
  11. 1 spoonturmeric powder

    Take tuvar dal wash it and pressure cook it. After releasing pressure take out from the cooker & smash it.

    In a kadhai add ghee then add jeera, hing, ginger garlic, green chilies, curry leaves & onion. Saute for a minute then add tomato.

    Then add cooked tuver dal. Mix well. Then add salt, sugar, lemon juice, and chopped coriander. Let it boil for 5 min.

    If you want you can add tadka over it after boiling. Dal fry is ready. You can serve it with jeera rice or roti or plain rice also
