It's basically a fusion by me. An innovative idea at it's best. I have used both Spinach and Fenugreek Greens. A simple yet an elegant dish with amazing Green Leafy Vegetables that are the powerhouses of Vitamins and Minerals beneficial to our body. I have used Chicken in this and have already used Mutton Bone-in before with the same combo. You will definitely love this fusion. Also you can already see the colour. Doesn't it look beautifully Green? Iam in love with this dish ever since I prepared it. It was very delicious. And also loved by my family and friends. It's a must have on the weekends for us. And not only Chicken, it tastes equally great with Lamb too.
Green Leafy Vegetables are in the Season now and hence it's the right time to make this Green dish that can be enjoyed with both Rice and Rotis.
Enjoy Cooking with Zeen!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat Oil in a cooking pot. Saute Onions with Ginger garlic paste. Also add Green Chillies and the rest of the spices mentioned. Saute all of this for a good 3-4 minutes.
- 2
Next is to add Chicken to it. Saute it on a medium high heat. Keep stirring it every now and then. After 5 minutes of stirring, cover with a lid and allow it to cook for the next few minutes on a low heat.
- 3
Wash and chop both the Greens. Drain well and keep aside. After about 15-20 minutes of cooking the Chicken, add the Greens to it. Do not cook them for a very long time because they get done very quickly.
- 4
After adding the Greens, cook on a high heat. It is recommended because they tend to leave a lot of water. So it is always better to cook on a medium high to high heat only. Adjust Salt and also add chopped Coriander. This is a gravy. So keep it medium thick. That's it. Do not add water at all. Let it cook in it's own juices.
- 5
Serve hot to your lovely families at mealtimes alongside any Indian Bread, Fried Rice, Pulao or simply plain boiled Rice too.

Methi Chicken Methi Chicken
#myfirstrecipeMethi Chicken is a simple and delectable creamy chicken curry with fenugreek or methi leaves, yoghurt and lots of cream. While methi is a leafy vegetable available mostly in winters I have used kasuri methi which is easily available at the market. This dish is extremely popular at every household but I whip it up real fast with minimal spices in an extremely hassle free way.I must mention that though I refrain myself from adding much of the cream for health reasons yet it uplifts the taste to an extremely good level. Enjoy eating! Kamalika Basu De -

#greenveg - Aloo Methi is quite a popular dish made at home and also served in many North Indian restaurants. So how about substituting potatoes with turnip? Besides, greens are full of iron and helps in eliminating any inflammation in the body. So it is advisable to include it in our daily diet. So here is a simple, easy and a quick side dish of fenugreek leaves cooked with turnip. This is my version and I cooked it in mustard oil with a tempering of panch phoron. A very nice combo that goes well with plain steamed rice or chapatis. Bethica Das -

Indian Style Chicken Stir Fry Indian Style Chicken Stir Fry
I made this dish today when I had only 200gms of chicken (for 4 people). My plan with this chicken was to make momos. But as my mother and sister wanted something different yet filling and tasty I came up with this recipe. It hardly takes 10 minutes prep time and cooking combined. As I said, little goes a long way, because it's so flavourful a cup of boiled rice and a tablespoon of this curry is all you would need. I hope you like it. No fry chilli chicken No fry chilli chicken
Chilli chicken is a popular Indo-chinese preparation. In this dish mostly the chicken is deep-fried in a batter of cornflour and egg. But in this era when everyone is so health-conscious, I thought of preparing chilli chicken in which the chicken is not deep fried and yet you do not compromise with the taste. So, here I have just cooked the chicken in it's own juices and then cooked it in the prepared sauce. Chilli chicken can be served as an appetizer or with fried rice and noodles.#partyfood #indochinese The Epicurean Feast -
