Ingredients

  1. For roasting paneer
  2. 1/4 cup yogurt
  3. 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1/4 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1/4 tspcumin powder
  8. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  9. 1 tspkasuri methi
  10. 1 tsplemon juice
  11. 1 tspoil
  12. 1/4 tspsalt
  13. 15 cubespaneer
  14. As RequiredOil for roasting
  15. As RequiredOther ingredients
  16. 1 tsp butter
  17. 2 tspoil
  18. 1 tspcumin seeds
  19. 1onion (finely chopped)
  20. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  21. 1/2capsicum (chopped)
  22. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  23. 1 tsppav bhaji masala
  24. 1/2 tspsalt
  25. 3ripened tomato (puree)
  26. 1 cupwater
  27. 2 tbspcoriander (finely chopped)

Cooking Instructions

    Roast the marinated paneer pieces on hot tawa adding oil as required.

    Flip over and roast from all sides. Keep aside.

    Now in a large Kadai heat butter and oil. Once the oil is hot add cumin and roast until the jeera turns aromatic.

    Add onion, and ginger garlic paste, and saute well. Add capsicum and saute for a minute without overcooking the capsicum.

    Add spices and salt. Add tomato puree and mix well and cover and cook till oil separates.

    Add water and cook till oil separates, add in roasted paneer pieces and mix gently.

    Finally, add coriander and enjoy the tawa paneer recipe with roti.
