Assemble ingredients

Put 2 cup water to Boil, then add Ginger + green chilli + Cumin seeds + Salt + Sugar. Add Sooji and keep stirring to prevent formation of lumps. Cook further for few minutes till Sooji is cooked and turns thick.

Allow Sooji to cool down, mash Potato. Mix both Sooji + potato + red chilli powder and make a dough. Grease palms, pinch sufficient quantity of mixture and give shape of ball and then flatten it. The make a whole right in the middle and keep aside. Follow the same process with rest of the mixture / dough.

Heat sufficient Oil in Kadhai or Pan, drop the Vadas and deep fry till golden brown.

Serve hot hot.
